wall stickers
Wall stickers, wall tattooes, vinyl wall art, wall decals…whatever you call them, they are sweeping the interior design world as an alternative to traditional artwork and a modern expression of colour and pattern in any room. I wanted to give you some online sources for the hottest home graphics out there. The first I wanted to mention is a new design team from Vancouver called Surface Collective who are actually featured in the new Canadian House & Home Magazine. While I find some of their wall tattooes slightly OTT they generally have a very unique approach to the wall decal category by providing original graphics that you won’t find anywhere else. Some of my favourites include the ones pictured above: Peacock Feathers, Paper Cranes, Tree of Life (which is in serious need of a better photo). I recommend that you browse all of the designs yourself as there is a wide variety to tickle your fancy.
There are many other sources online including, in my opinion, one of the most drool-worthy wallpaper and wall sticker designers out there: Ferm Living. This Danish designer makes the most delicate and stunning wallpaper but has successfully transferred that aesthetic to a line of interesting, mostly black, wall stickers. The Hydrangea and the Power Pole being only 2 of the 20+ designs.
The Canadian site ModernKid is a good resource for the whimsical Wallcandy Arts line of wall stickers made for kids shown on the left. Pictured in the middle, the New York site dVider is also a popular go-to for a large selection of reasonably priced sticker images and patterns available in probably the widest array of colours - they deliver to Canada. And finally, for wall and window options, Purlfrost from the UK does a small collection of tasteful wall stickers like the cherry blossom shown on the right above. Their specialty however lies in ’silver etch’ premium frosted window film for a modern solution to home privacy. Check our their website for more details. And happy sticking.

Hi Swishlist,
Max here a.k.a dVider - thanks so much for the mention. We were excited to see overselves listed with so many great companies. We have a lot of fun designing and making the stickers- every conceivable surface in our studio is covered, as we test out/live with every design prior to launching it. Please keep checking back as we introduce new designs on a regular basis and, if you are looking for a laugh check our blog.
Thanks again - cheers Max

Wondering if when removed do these stickers peel the paint off with them ?

Hi Corrie:
All of the stickers that I have used and seen that are made specifically for wall use peel off quite easily. Most you can even re-apply somewhere else.

I’ve seen PLAGE wall stickers from France that are gorgeous. I’d like to know how I can purchase them from Canada.
